Karen Kish, CPNP, is a certified pediatric nurse practitioner at Chesterfield Pediatrics in Midlothian, Virginia. She is certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board.
Karen received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Elmhurst University and her MSN from Virginia Commonwealth University. She was raised in a suburb of Chicago, but has lived in Virginia since 1996.
As a registered nurse, Karen worked as a school nurse at the American High School in Baumholder, Germany. After returning to the States, she primarily worked in the Richmond area in the postpartum unit and newborn nursery. After obtaining her MSN and CPNP, she joined Chesterfield Pediatrics where she has worked along side Dr. Harrington for more than 10 years.
Karen enjoys working with many families, from days old through adulthood. She helps guide families through their wellness checks and cares for them when they are sick. Karen has been part of the Chesterfield community for almost 20 years. She has conducted infection control in-services for daycare staff as well as led a Town Hall Discussion Panel on COVID held by the Virginia Department of Health. She currently resides with her daughter and has two grown sons. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking and travel.
